And this is why…

IMG_3489 I have NEVER seen a news app actually read “GET OUT NOW” I clicked on the story, and that is exactly what the rest of the story outlined.  The storm that moved in, and hovered over the Houston area ALL NIGHT LONG completely wrecked shop.

Yes, it was epic! Watched it online, remembering the historic Memorial Day floods in Austin in 1981, ten inches of rain in four hours. It was a most beautiful sunny calm Sunday spent by the pool, then about 6:00 a large bank of black clouds moved in and opened up and dumped non stop for hours. Places in the hills flooded that aren’t anywhere near a flood zone. The usual low water areas flooded big time. The next day dawned clear and beautiful with the sun shining on the devastation. This time Blanco and Wimberly took a hit and it was so encouraging to see these communities out in force helping each other.
